Project Overview

Bumper to Bumper was looking for content to use in their marketing to generally promote the business. Some of the video they were looking for was to be used in advertising at local WHL games on the jumbo-tron and other content was intended for advertising on social media.

In terms of deliverables, from only 2 half-day shoots, the Landing Studio created 27 videos that can be categorized thematically into four series:

  1. Know your parts people

  2. Car show 2024

  3. Parts Delivery Ads

  4. Shop testimonials

We were pleased by the number of deliverables we were able to produce from just 2 half-day shoots. The key factors contributing to this productivity included a significant amount of planning ahead of time (preproduction work), a client that brought a keen interest in marketing, and flexibility and creative thinking on the spot during production day made possible because of all the planning that we had already done.

In addition to the quantity of content we delivered, we were also pleased by the quality of the videos we produced - the videos we delivered were polished and ready to use. Also, we were just really pleased by the amount of creativity we brought to the project despite filming being a bit challenging, as we had to ensure the right shots were captured in the right way to to be able to tell the story we wanted in the in finished product.

The overarching goal for these videos was to promote Bumper to Bumper. In addition to simply getting the business name out there, we made certain choices to show certain characteristics of the business. For example, we wanted to convey a trustworthy like-family business, by introducing long-term employees. In some of the other videos, we exaggerated speed to lean into the messaging that way the business provides value and gives good customer service is by being fast.

In conclusion, we are proud of the videos we were able to produce for Bumper to Bumper and really happy to have had the opportunity to work with a client who is interested in and sees the value in marketing. We were glad to be able to provide Bumper to Bumper with content they can use to promote themselves, showing their strengths as a company and active community supporter.
